Lynda
Rushing received her B.A. in chemistry and psychology at
the University of Hawaii at Manoa and her M.D. at Harvard Medical
School. She completed a residency in pathology and a fellowship in
cytopathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. She is
currently medical director of gynecologic pathology and cytology at
Pathology Services, Inc., a private laboratory in Cambridge, MA as
well as clinical assistant professor of pathology at Tufts Medical
School and Clinical Instructor in Pathology at Harvard Medical School.

Her non-pathology interests
include running, weight-lifting, yoga, gardening, and cooking. She
lives with her husband, two daughters, parents, cats, dog, and rabbit
in northern Massachusetts. Having spent most of her childhood and
early adult life in Honolulu, Hawaii, she still forgets to wear gloves
during the raw New England winters. |

Nancy
Joste received her B.A. in zoology from the University
of California at Berkeley and then worked for several years as a field
biologist. She earned her M.S. in biology and her M.D. degree from
the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, followed by a residency
in pathology and a fellowship in cytopathology at the Brigham and
Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. She is currently on the faculty as
an associate professor of pathology at the University of New Mexico
School of Medicine where, in addition to her work with Pap smears,
she is involved in teaching medical students and medical research.
She is co-director of cytopathology at TriCore Reference Laboratory
in Albuquerque. |

Dr. Joste lives in
Albuquerque with her husband, two children, two cats, a dog, and a
small flock of chickens. She enjoys swimming and running and outdoor
activities such as backpacking, fishing, skiing, and birdwatching.
